Q. Do You Accept Insurance?
A. We do not accept insurance as payment for our services. However, we do provide a super-bill for your services that you can send to your insurance company for potential reimbursement
Q. What Is A Super-Bill?
A super-bill is a receipt that we will provide for you that contains all the pertinent information your insurance company may need for consideration for reimbursement for our care. That information includes your personal information, date of birth, appropriate diagnosis codes and the procedure codes for the services you have received. Keep in mind that Sarasota Sports Medicine does not guarantee that there will be any reimbursement for expenses that are incurred and that your insurance is a contract between you and the company
Q. What Are Your Fees?

Q. Do You Render Treatment On The First Visit?
A. Under most circumstances, yes we will provide some type of treatment on the first visit. The only instance we would not would be in cases of severe trauma, history of severe trauma or if the doctor suspects that you have another condition that would necessitate additional testing
Q. Do You Require X-Rays Prior To Treatment?
A. Generally, no. Unless the doctor suspects an underlying condition or pathology. Click here for examples
Q. Do You Have On-Site X-Ray or MRI Services?
A. We do not have on-site diagnostic imaging services. However, we have excellent relationships with local imaging centers and Dr. Kaufman regularly consults with their radiologists to ensure the best care for his patients
Q. If I Need X-Ray's or An MRI, How Much Does It Cost?
A. Generally, cash fees for x-rays are $45.00 for two views and $200 for an MRI without contrast
