Aaron is a former two-sport Division I athlete that has found his niche helping others perform their best. Following college, semi-pro sports, and an attempt at the corporate life, Aaron started his personal training journey in 2008 at a traditional gym, in Sarasota.

From 2009-2017, he expanded his personal training clientele, taught thousands of group CrossFit classes, developed a number of coaches, and created programs for children, expecting moms, the special needs community, Olympic weightlifting, and competitive athletes.

Since 2017, Aaron has been working in spinal chord injury/TBI rehab, cerebral palsy, youth mentoring, as well as lifestyle coaching and training teenagers for a variety of sports.

Aaron has experience working with very young children with a number of special needs, to traveling the world with professional athletes, to in-home training elderly with dementia.

Born and raised in Florida, Aaron attended Port Charlotte High School, where he excelled in both baseball and football before heading off to the United States Naval Academy.

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Trip started his service in the role of Top Dog for Sarasota Sports Medicine in 2020. He’s responsible for greeting all patients and will even escort you to the door upon departure (for an additional cost of a dried sweet potato or carrot). If you have met him before, you already know he’s quirky. If you’re lucky (and open-minded), you’ll appreciate his unusual techniques and methods of getting “business done” with his co-worker, the “girlfriend”.
